Fundraising through concession sales would not be possible without the hard work of the parent and student volunteers. The opportunity provided by the community, along with the work of volunteers and generous donations by Discount Drug Mart and ACME, realized a profit selling hamburgers and hot dogs of over $1500.00. While the economy is in a recession the boosters group has managed to generate much needed revenue! Those who worked in the kitchen, assisted in booth setup, grilling, food wrapping, customers care and clean up deserve a huge thank you. Special thanks goes to Patti Gabb who coordinated the volunteers.
The boosters have approximately four boxes of burgers available for $18/box. These are fresh and remain frozen, purchased from Discount Drug Mart Meat & Produce. Each box contains 40 burgers. There are also several packages of hamburger buns whose shelf life is being slightly extended by refrigeration. The buns are available for FREE to the first takers. Contact Don K about either. They are taking up valuable space.
The Boosters will meet on Wednesday July 22, 7:00 p.m. at the Krolikowski residence, 6408 Hillside Road. Please consider attending this informal boosters get together. The agenda includes the new "tiered" level of support with incentives at the various levels, a new logo, mission statement and band camp ambassador program, the Homedays pop booth and a bus trip to the Streetsboro game.

• Raffle tickets for Home Days are available for sale now. All band members will be required to sell tickets. Contact Judy Ciulla. The Band will again sponsor the Home Days pop stand with all proceeds benefiting the Independence Music Department.
• Community Summer Concert, July 9 - Bakery can be dropped off at Patti Gabb's house, 6474 Willow Dr., before 6:30 p.m. on Thursday 7/8.
